We arrived at the pig pod march this year for my 40th birthday with my husband, daughters and dog mollie. We were absolutely overwhelmed at the surroundings, really loved that it was a working farm, beautiful surroundings and not to mention the pod itself. In the pod we were so happy to find balloons, fizz and much more fabulous things to contribute to the stay. The essentials they'd left for us were excellent and wasn't expected, everything you could possibly need they'd thought of. Very clean too, which is a must for me, I felt so comfortable I wish we'd of stayed for longer. Thank you for everything Debs, Jane and mark, you really made my little family happy! Oh, and most importantly, 10 mins stroll to the local pub! Well definitely book again. Vicky & Shaun!

This is the second time we have stayed in the pig pod and we will be back again. It is warm and comfortable with everything that you might need. It is also very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our kids also love it and can't wait to go back.

Stayed here for a weekend winter break - first time in the area. The Pig Pod had everything we needed as a family of 3 and it is dog friendly too. The extras provided in the welcome pack were much appreciated - it was a lovely cosy space to relax and a great base for exploring the surrounding areas. Would definitely come back again...

The pig pod is a perfect camping pod. It’s location is quiet, rural, with beautiful views but only 10 minute drive from all the amenities of Kendal. The pod is warm, cosy, beautifully set up with everything you need and the owners even leave bread/milk/butter/OJ/chocolate/tea & coffee. I will definitely return.

My husband, 7 year old daughter and I stayed at The Pig Pod for two nights at the beginning of September. It was our first time Glamping and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The Pod was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with a surprising amount of space. Our daughter loved the cosy bunkbeds and having her own area of the pod. The setting was peaceful and a perfect escape. We will definitely be back!
