We were welcomed with biscuits and a chocolate box. It was lovely. Only 4 stars just because it was a bit cold in the cabin at night. It was 17 degrees celsius in the cabin and was a bit too cold for kids. The underfloor heating is locked so we could adjust the temperature of the cabin. It is quite small inside but there is a plenty of space for kids to run about outside. We would love to visit again but hope the weather would be warmer then. Location was amazing.

We had the best time here as a family of 3 and our dog. We enjoyed it so much that we wanted to stay another night but unfortunately, it was fully booked. Situated on a lovely working farm within walking distance to The Black Labrador where we had food one evening. Such a great spot to venture out to the lakes and not far at all from Windermere. We were left welcome gifts like biscuits, chocolates and a bottle of Bucks Fizz. The owners also left us milk, orange juice, bread and butter, everything you need for a couple of nights away. We also loved the Nespresso coffee pods as we have the same machine at home. Tea, coffee and sugar is also provided. We managed to get a few bits and pieces from the Asda which is only around a ten minute drive away. We cannot wait to return in the summer, thanks for having us! The Godwins

We had a wonderful time staying in the Pig pod. It was extremely comfortable for all and well equipped. Our two children enjoyed sleeping in the bunk beds and also exploring the grounds. The location is fantastic - access to the heart of the lakes is easy. A wonderful stay and will return.

The Pig Pod was perfect for our family holiday to the Lakes. Our daughter was so excited to stay in the unique pod and it was extremely clean, well presented and felt very new and fresh. The little touches added, like the sweet treats, and the lovely welcome from Jane on our arrival made the stay all the more wonderful. Thank you! We can’t recommend the Pig Pod enough.
