IQ Mobile is owned and operated by Peter Gradwell, a leading UK telecoms entrepreneur. His first business, Gradwell Communications, was founded in 1998 whilst at University in Aberystwyth and provides Cloud Telephony to over 20,000 UK small businesses.

In April 2020, Peter took over IQ Mobile, with a vision for a new type of mobile phone service that combines a high quality network, good value for money and a compelling offering that recognises the new more flexible, mobile way of working that so many of us are used too - but where we can also have a single phone device that respects our work/life balance.

Throughout 2020 and into 2021, we will be focused on innovating in the business mobile sector, adding Wifi Calling, 5G, Mobile Call Recording and other business class telephony features that the mobile world has long been looking for.

“The reason I joined IQ was for the full data usage allowance whilst travelling in Europe, however the recent change to a much reduced usage allowance in Europe (now less than many other providers) means I will be looking elsewhere for my next Euro trip. Unless the suggestion of a decent supply of a Euro specific sim comes to fruition. Also the lack of an app to see usage and remaining data is poor.”

“I started buying the data package as I work away in Europe and the 100G bundle was a good deal for roaming But then they limited it to 25G roaming so will not be buying again as this now works out more expensive.”

“Great sim to get. Hopefully the EU fair usage cap will get sorted soon as that is the reason we use this sim, i.e. there was no cap. An app showing data usage would also be good as it is a bit long winded to find out what data you have remaining. Great support on WhatsApp if you have any questions.”

“Mostly I switched to IQ Mobile for the unlimited roaming. That has now gone. They need to come up with a replacement option PDQ.”
