IQ Mobile is owned and operated by Peter Gradwell, a leading UK telecoms entrepreneur. His first business, Gradwell Communications, was founded in 1998 whilst at University in Aberystwyth and provides Cloud Telephony to over 20,000 UK small businesses.

In April 2020, Peter took over IQ Mobile, with a vision for a new type of mobile phone service that combines a high quality network, good value for money and a compelling offering that recognises the new more flexible, mobile way of working that so many of us are used too - but where we can also have a single phone device that respects our work/life balance.

Throughout 2020 and into 2021, we will be focused on innovating in the business mobile sector, adding Wifi Calling, 5G, Mobile Call Recording and other business class telephony features that the mobile world has long been looking for.

“Everything was easy to set up and use but I was disappointed that the roaming data is only 25% of the total data capped at 25GB The card and data, was purchased because of the possibility of 100% roaming data. This changed while I was roaming so had to purchase more than I thought I would need. I am aware that this is being looked into.”

“From my viewpoint, IQ mobile are trying to provide what travellers in the EU need, the ability to buy the data they need without the stupid "fair-usage" rules from other operators that make the currently maximum 90 day visit impossible. EE appear to be trying to prevent them doing this, but hopefully IQ will find a way to simply sell us what we want. Rant over! Their service is brilliant. I've never seen such fast responses elsewhere. The usage check is a bit laborious with the need to remember the phone number and then check an email. It would be simpler if it was just covered by a general account login, but it does work. I'm hoping that their new offer will be out soon.”

“So disappointed that the IQ Go 100gb 1 month roaming deal has gone. The team did their best to help me through my 2 month trip by honouring my purchase of another 100gb after it was announced that unlimited roaming was being removed. Great interaction whilst in Europe via WhatsApp and e mail. Hope they can find a solution. Will keep my IQ Go sim in the meantime.”

“Has worked brilliantly on our first trip to Europe using it including in Switzerland. Would have been a 5 star but unfortunately the 100gb data has now been capped to 25gb at very short notice, so will be no good for us going forward unless they find an alternative which I hope will happen and meant we had to buy double data unexpectedly this trip. I”

“I bought the go data pack to go to France and Spain on the promise of 100gb. A few days before our trip, we had an email saying that data roaming would be capped at 25gb. When I queried this, I was told the 100gb would be honoured for the first month. We are now in France. It seems to be working fine. Hopefully they will still honour the 100gb. Good customer service.”
