IQ Mobile is owned and operated by Peter Gradwell, a leading UK telecoms entrepreneur. His first business, Gradwell Communications, was founded in 1998 whilst at University in Aberystwyth and provides Cloud Telephony to over 20,000 UK small businesses.

In April 2020, Peter took over IQ Mobile, with a vision for a new type of mobile phone service that combines a high quality network, good value for money and a compelling offering that recognises the new more flexible, mobile way of working that so many of us are used too - but where we can also have a single phone device that respects our work/life balance.

Throughout 2020 and into 2021, we will be focused on innovating in the business mobile sector, adding Wifi Calling, 5G, Mobile Call Recording and other business class telephony features that the mobile world has long been looking for.

“I've used IQGo in our motorhome for a few months now. Generally a good signal but I'd say the data we always seem to use all our data. On one trip, we watched 2 nights of Netflx and used all the 10GB apparently- the mifi unit was only on when we watched the films. On our next trip, I tried to top up on Friday evening (noticing we'd used the data) but it wasn't active until Monday. I used my phone as a hotspot, worked just as well, and it only used about 3GB on the hotspot. Switched to a different provider now.”

“I am generally happy with IQ Go, hence the maximum score. They are easy to deal with, the new data options are activated quickly and they are responsive when I need some guidance. I would maybe welcome a bit more granularity, such as a 50GB option.”
