IQ Mobile is owned and operated by Peter Gradwell, a leading UK telecoms entrepreneur. His first business, Gradwell Communications, was founded in 1998 whilst at University in Aberystwyth and provides Cloud Telephony to over 20,000 UK small businesses.

In April 2020, Peter took over IQ Mobile, with a vision for a new type of mobile phone service that combines a high quality network, good value for money and a compelling offering that recognises the new more flexible, mobile way of working that so many of us are used too - but where we can also have a single phone device that respects our work/life balance.

Throughout 2020 and into 2021, we will be focused on innovating in the business mobile sector, adding Wifi Calling, 5G, Mobile Call Recording and other business class telephony features that the mobile world has long been looking for.

“Unfortunately IQ Mobile aren't competitive with their "fair use policy" use abroad against Tesco Mobile. This might change after 2026, but for now, £75 for 100Gb of European usage "per month" just won't work. The business model was great pre "restrictions" but now, I suspect you will be losing customers hand over fist, which is a real shame, as you are a small UK business.”

“I find that 30gb suits us whilst away in the van but have also purchased the 10gb option for general use as phone reception is awful in our area so outside the house wifi calling via the ZTE hotspot works well. Excellent service from IQ.”

“Absolutely no faults or grievances with website. But More clarity required on detailing and showing exactly what amount of Data has been used since new Bundle start date. Also written advice rand instructions required on how to minimise use of unnecessary data for such things as background/update/app usage, which ideally should be confined to periods when the WiFi connection is to a home broadband.”
