IQ Mobile is owned and operated by Peter Gradwell, a leading UK telecoms entrepreneur. His first business, Gradwell Communications, was founded in 1998 whilst at University in Aberystwyth and provides Cloud Telephony to over 20,000 UK small businesses.

In April 2020, Peter took over IQ Mobile, with a vision for a new type of mobile phone service that combines a high quality network, good value for money and a compelling offering that recognises the new more flexible, mobile way of working that so many of us are used too - but where we can also have a single phone device that respects our work/life balance.

Throughout 2020 and into 2021, we will be focused on innovating in the business mobile sector, adding Wifi Calling, 5G, Mobile Call Recording and other business class telephony features that the mobile world has long been looking for.

“The device works well but is not so easy to hang up in our motorhome (walls are textured so suckers don't work and there are no places within cable length of a mains outlet to hang it ... ended up hanging it from a G-clamp on a piece of string). Once hung though, we had reliable internet access, and it was infinitely more able to access the local 4G signal than our phones which we used to use as wifi access points.”

“I recently purchased an IQ Go Data Sim to use in our Motorhomes WiFi router. The whole experience from first contacting IQ has been great, the customer service is excellent. Our first trip away using the Sim was to the Lake District, in a known poor signal area! We had full signal throughout our stay and no issues. I would highly recommend IQ, they are excellent.”

“We haven't used it yet other than to test it works ... but heading to Ireland for a motorhome trip next month. The test worked but it was a little confusing working out how to get it set up - some explicit instructions on what number to enter would have helped a lot. (We're IT literate, but rarely use devices where we haveto set im sim cards ... I guess that could apply to many customers, so a step-by-step "how to" leaflet packed with the card might help.)”
