“I made a blue one back in the 80s for my daughter, since then her sister has worn it, 2 cousins and now one of the cousins daughter is wearing it, plan is to pass it on to her brother when he's bigger. Testament to the quality of the cotton!”

Having only just seen this new jacket kit on your site, I purchased it yesterday - and found it on my doorstep this morning! Speed of light delivery!
This time purchased for a grandchild, I have opened the kit but obviously not quite made it yet - however it brings back wonderful memories, I love the colours and the quality of the fabrics, and sewing it is going to be such a treat.
I long so very much for you to bring back those babycord dresses with the little white detachable collars, and pinafores and the dungarees with the clip fastenings that were about in the 70's and 80's! I remember being able to buy the kits by cheque, enclosing 3 in total, 2 of which were postdated! How that helped me when I wanted to buy my children so many of your kits but the old housekeeping was limited, although my husband was (and still is) generous and loved the clothes I made. If only I had bought more kits and kept them all ha! We were known as the Clothkit family in our village.

“I made the pink jacket for my daughter in the 80s . I love quilting, so had spent time quilting the whole jacket. I kept the jacket and carefully hung it in a pillow case. I then passed it to my grand daughter and it has now been passed to my great niece. I hope that it will last another generation as it is a real heirloom !!! Hi”
“I thoroughly enjoyed making this lovely jacket for my granddaughter who was delighted with it, especially the animals hidden in the cleverly camouflaged pockets. The printed pieces assembled nicely and there was a generous amount of lining, thread and bias binding. I quilted the top layer with vertical lines of stitching and it worked well. It received many compliments on its first outing today. So it was a treat for me and a treat for her!”
