“I made these jackets years ago for my children and it’s wonderful to still be able to make them for my grandchildren. I love the purple farmyard jacket which I made for my granddaughter and I plan to make the orange woodland one soon for my grandson.”
“I was so delighted to find this. I made a number of these coats for my daughters more than 30 years ago and they were much loved, particularly the little animals in the pockets. So having a 3 year old granddaughter made me try the website. She and my daughter are thrilled and the making up instructions were still easy to follow. With more time now days I was able to quilt the animal motifs which was very effective. Only thing I changed was to buy smaller toggles.
My son has just bought me the boy doll to make for my grandson, a replica of the one he had, which little does he realise is still stored in a drawer under my bed. I look forward to making the kit.”
