“The fabric and print was beautiful quality, as one comes to expect from Clothkits. I decided to add an inner wool layer before cutting out the jacket, I quilted using an animal outline to the top fabric and inner wool batting. The coat came out well and can be used during the winter months. This was a gift and they liked it a lot.”
“The kit arrived very quickly and the fabric design is great I think my grand daughter will love it. I have yet to make it up , a project for the New Year but the instructions seem clear and easy to follow .”
“I made these coats for my granddaughters, aged 2 and 4. I was glad to find that Clothkits is selling these again as I made one for my daughter (mother of the girls) when she was a child. The instructions are easy to follow, though getting the binding around the collar and along the top of the fronts was difficult in one piece. To remedy that I put the binding around the collar separately. Some of the cutting lines for smaller sizes are not all that clear but I managed to get them right and ended up with two lovely warm coats. All the girls love them. Pictures are of my granddaughters and my daughter on roller skates in her Clothkits jacket in 1988.”
