“I ordered this because the Red light was flashing continuously when I tried to recharge it, plus for a short time when I switched it on,I had no power and it would not charge. I contacted Halo and was advised that the problem was probably a faulty charger and sent a link so that I could purchase a new one. However after leaving it plugged in for over 3 hours it was still flashing red and still wouldn't charge. I bought my Halo 4 year's ago but it seems now as though I need a new vacuum cleaner. I expected it to last longer and am very disappointed.”

“There is a design fault. Most would expect the Halo Capsule vacuum cleaner to be vertical during charging or storage. Currently the low voltage end of the charger plugs straight into the female socket. Unless someone is blessed with a mains socket nearing ceiling level, the wiring lead has to turn 90 degrees. Because the wiring is pretty thin, flexible and unsupported this turn occurs immediately at the read end of the low voltage plug-in because of gravity. Over time this arrangement builds in repeated strain and stress reversal and, as in my case, eventually the connecrtions within the plug head part company. I recommend a more resilient wire wrap.”

“Ridiculously expensive price for a charger that is very poor quality. This is the third one we have had in 3 years of owning the vacuum. The charge cable is made of brittle plastic that breaks at the base of the connector after a short time of use.”
