“I've had my new Capsule X for just under a month now and am very happy with it so far. My previous Halo Capsule had stopped working last year when it was just out of warranty and it couldn't be repaired. I've had to wait quite a while for this new Capsule X but it has been worth the wait. It appeasrs to be an improvement on the previous model and it's so versatile. Very pleased with it.”

“In keeping with all models of this type I find the edges of the floor cleanng tool does not allow the user to go right up to the skirting board - either head on sideways. I have to carry another long-handled brush at the same time so with my other hand I can 'eek' away the small particles, that because of the thick edges of the floor cleaning tool, I have to bring further into the carpet area. It would be interestng to see if you can create a revolving half-moon brush [one either either side of the floor cleaning tool] which whisks [or eeks] the tiny particles into the path of the suction stream. At present I use the upholstery tool which certainly nudges the skirting board but takes so much longer due to the limited effectiveness and catchment area of the smaller tool head. Thank you.”

“Have used the new m/c twice from new. I find it heavier (5+ kg c/f 4+kg). It does not seem more powerful. But the worse feature of the Capsule X c/f the Capsule is the rather annoying change in weight distribution; the fact that the battery is now external and "plonked" on the end of the handle completely changes the balance of the m/c (which will take some getting used to if at all). Can't say I'm in favour so far -already regretting that I didn't push repair of my (original) Capsule with Halo. Sorry, but this is an honest opinion.”

“Replacement for Capsule. The machine is longer than it's predecessor due to the battery sticking out which is more unweildy in tight spaces. Also, it does not seem to be as powerful but maybe it's because I haven't vacuumed for a while and needed to do so twice.”

“The Halo was always good but the New Capsule X is even better. The attachments now lock in place, so much more secure. The battery detaches for charging which is a huge plus. Very impressed.”
