“I bought the Capsule Vacuum to replace my existing cordless cleaner to see if the claims were justified. First impressions are favourable the only gripe being the method of attaching the charging lead to the cradle. Being in my dotage I did not find it easy to thread the lead into the clamp, and then found it came out at the slightest pull. I have always had reservations about the use of a rotary brushes on thick carpets as they seem to take up half of the carpet with them. As far as I can make out, the Capsule does a good job on carpets on it’s normal (mid) setting for most areas, an on full power for the more heavily trafficked ones. Perhaps using the brushes once a week might be a good option. On hard floors it seems to do as good a job as more expensive makes.”
