“I’ve had this for just over a year. Within that time one of the wheels has become loose and constantly falls off, the plastic collar attachment between the vacuum shaft and main body has snapped (fixed with duct tape) and now the roller has ceased to function completely. Unfortunately the Halo is only effective on carpets with the roller so I’m now looking at a more durable replacement. What at first seemed great value for money has only served as a reminder that if you pay cheap you often pay twice. Not that the Halo is particularly cheap. In summary, a very light-duty machine that isn’t up to the job.”

“Only used it once so far. Seems ok but unit heavier than expected and handle is not terribly comfortable to hold. Also think that the brush head should be able to be fixed rather than always in the “gimble” mode which can be quite tricky to manoeuvre.”

“I went into hospital for a new hip soon after I received it and have only really started using it. I live on my own in a small one bedroom barn conversion. The vacuum constantly gets blocked so I have to take the tubes apart to clear it, which is not easy, and takes ages. I am really disappointed and it is heavier than I thought it would be. I was attracted by the Saga magazine ad. Never again!”

“Satisfied with the weight but the battery life barely lasts an hour much to our disappointment. Our cleaning lady is booked for three hours and has to use our old electric cleaner. D. Baptie 100 High St. S20 5AJ”
