“The product is great. I love the cleanser. Like many others have said, the metal tube is a nightmare. Please PLEASE go back to the glass jars for all of your products.”

“Love this cleanser, but I don’t love the packaging! Attempting to re screw the lid mid double cleanse is a nightmare as the cap doesn’t want to screw back on straight! Unfortunately it makes using the product, which is actually very good, feel very annoying. I think I would have a better experience using cheap supermarket cleanser packaging. Please please review your packaging thoroughly from an end users perspective Facetheory.”

“This is, without a doubt, THE best cleanser I have ever used. I've been using it for years now, but never got round to writing a review. I have combination skin. Greasy forehead and cheeks that get so dry with the wrong cleanser they flake. I've tried so many brands over the last thirty years. The only other one that worked for me was Beautiful Skin by Boots but that was discontinued years ago. Face Theory Glow-C cream cleanser beats all of them, hands down. It doesn't dry your skin out, but isn't greasy either. Lovely texture, recyclable packaging and a great price. Bravo, Face Theory! Please don't stop making this, my face will fall off!”

“I've been using this cleanser for years and love it, but the new packaging needs some serious work. The product keeps coming out even with the tiniest amount of pressure. It's also really hard to thread the lid back on while you've got product in one hand, but if you don't get in on ASAP it'll continue to leak out. I'm going to end up just squeezing it all into a leftover glass jar I think.”

“I've used this product for years now and love the cleanser itself. I use the unscented version as the second step in a double-cleanse after an oil cleanser, and it does a great job of removing any residue and making my skin feel comfortable. My only reason for taking a star off my rating is the new metal tube. I've repurchased this product in quite a few forms: when it was in a plastic pump, a glass pump, a glass jar and now this metal tube. I've not minded any of the packaging changes and appreciated that each change was to make the product more recyclable & eco-friendly. The previous amber glass jar with the metal lid was my favourite so far. However, this one just isn't practical. Apart from the infuriatingly fiddly cap that takes five tries to line up properly after each use, there's less product than in the previous jar, there's a lot of wastage in trying to finish the tube and no matter how much I clean & dry the nozzle after each use, this dark grey gunk seems to keep appearing around the metal as though it were a reaction with the cleanser itself and mixes in with the product as I squeeze it out. It's become quite an unpleasant experience to use. The only benefit the new tube has over any of the previous iterations, in my opinion, is that the tube is easier to travel with. However, I don't travel often and mainly use it daily at home, so these problems are actually now making me consider looking at alternative cleansers. I'm really hoping a change is made soon.”
