“I'm very impressed with the cream, you don't need very much and it has a nice but subtle smell. It is a great morning cleanser. My only negative for both it and the SPF cream , is the lids are very small and fall over easily, a slightly larger lid would hold it upright better.”

“This has been my only cleanser of choice for years, absolutely amazing product for my mature, sensitive skin, alongside a few other favourites from Facetheory. However due to the awful new tube, I won’t be repurchasing. I contacted Facetheory after not being able to pierce the tube, was told to use a golf tee?.. after cutting the tips of my fingers which was really sore, I’m left with a wasteful hard to close tube that looks like old toothpaste. My reply wasn’t what I expected from this amazing brand, a plastic pot or glass with refill pouches would be far more user friendly. Extremely sad not to be giving 5* plus review as I usually do for this fabulous local company. It’s the packaging not the product, given you 4 but it’s really only a 2 now sadly. Hope you’ll one day go back to pots or jars.”

“Dear Team, I have no issues with the product itself — it does exactly what it promises. My only problem is the new packaging, which is honestly the worst part of the experience. The tube is too heavy to stand upright, and the cap is very difficult to screw on with wet hands because it’s so small. Each squeeze pushes out about 1 cm of product, which leads to unnecessary waste. I even bought a metal tube key to control the amount, but it didn’t help much — the internal pressure still forces out more product than desired. Additionally, once the tube is squeezed and twisted, it quickly becomes crumpled and distorted. The metal folds look messy and worn, making the product appear cheap and unattractive. Instead of good skincare, it resembles a used toothpaste tube or medical ointment. This significantly affects the overall experience. There’s no pleasure in having it on display anymore — it looks awful on my table. The oversized brand logo combined with the tiny product name printing makes it hard to read without glasses. It would be much better to switch back to jars or at least use plastic tubes with wider caps so they can stand properly and be easier to handle. Wider caps would improve both stability and usability, and clearer labelling would enhance readability. It’s such a shame that a good product is undermined by poor packaging. I’m very disappointed and will not repurchase because of this. I’m experiencing the same issue with the eye cream — although the smaller tube makes it slightly more manageable, the problem is still there. Please consider looking at competitors, especially Korean brands like IUNIK or brands like The Inkey List, for inspiration on practical, aesthetically pleasing, and user-friendly packaging. I hope you will seriously reconsider this design choice.”
