“Went to check in but as the merchant had changed their terms and conditions within the last week and failed to inform me. I was unable to enjoy the experience and check in. I’m now having to try and claim my money back as Wowcher are not answering any of my queries. As you can appreciate I am unable to give a positive review as everything is a negative.”

“Gave four stars because it’s a Beautiful and unique hotel. Like being in an art gallery. We stayed in a room in the second house but was stunning and decorated entirely with the Sex Pistols art work! Food was exceptional and the service from the restaurant staff was excellent. Only issue was the hidden charges .. supposed to be a three course meal on voucher but had to pay additional charge for potatoes and veg, water on table and a service charge ( which we would have happily paid but would have preferred to know upfront ) Breakfast extra charges including £5 for a glass of juice! Drinks in bar were also very pricy. After paying the initial £199 for the voucher ended up with a further £120 cost on my credit card.. so not quite the bargain I thought it might be.”

“I can't comment, as sadly we couldn't make it due to me having a very serious accident and had to have skin grafts!! I tried asking twice if I could move the booking and got told I couldn't due to it being a wowcher booking. I was so looking forward to this night away with my husband, so very disappointed that it could not be changed as an act of goodwill due to the circumstances of my unfortunate situation, I lost my money, but both other parties didn't.”

“Good value for money. Very comfortable room. Food was good but limited evening menu with no vegetarian main course. Object to paying extra £5 for sides or glass of juice with breakfast! Beautiful surroundings but far too much taxidermy. Terry O'Neil photos are amazing.”
