“Disappointing. No cream for cream tea. Scone was spongey. My friend didn’t eat hers. This was my friend’s birthday treat. Reception staff and spa lady were brilliant. Cafe assistant a bit direct. Our massages were lovely. Couldn’t access pool or hot tub til after 11am as class going on.”

“I went to the Banbury one and feel the staff at the reception and restaurant could be more friendly. Initially there was no reception staff. I was bit disappointed with the cream tea as I only got one scone,clotted cream and jam. I was expecting some sandwich too or something else. On the other hand, the spa massage was lovely and so was use of the facilities. They were kept clean on a regular basis.”

“The Treatment in the spa was lovely and the beauty therapists were very welcoming. There was no cream tea as the cafe was shut. We were offered a sandwich that was out of date. Really disappointed as this was booked for a birthday treat.”

“The day and the spa treatment was great. My issue was more so with tge cream tea. You could only have a fruit scone there was no option of a plain scone and was told the cheese scone was not vegetarian as well as the clotted cream as it had milk in. I stated I wanted vegetarian and not vegan option but she just ignored me. If staff are serving foid they need to be aware of different diets and the food available with it. Fruit scones were wasted as we were not made aware we were getting served them”
