“The website was very easy to navigate through and My Account was also very nice. The program placement was very good and I enjoyed my time there. The highlight for me was to witness the difference between an American clinic and Cusco Clinic. All the people who work at the clinic are very dedicated and very helpful as well. We helped give physical exams helped the nurses finish their work faster. Jenny was very good and very helpful and always encouraged us. The host family of Giovanna was very wonderful. They were very nice and made us part of their family. Norma made us excellent food. It was a great experience for me and I felt like I was able to help the community and I would recommend it to everyone to come and help.”

“The website is really organized and clarifying. I also like Photos and testimonials. Pre-departure booklet was really useful and well organized. I think it&#39 s perfect just like that as it had all necessary information. Sahil was very clarifying and always responded very promptly. It was one of the strong points that made me opt for Volunteering Solutions. Jenny was also very kind. I loved my program placement. It was a very enriching experience that I hope to repeat soon and for a longer duration. I have no doubts that the kids really appreciated our action. I think I left a very positive mark. The experience was the best of my life. I loved to meet with the kids with the host family and the other volunteers. It was an amazing experience that I&#39 m looking forward to repeat with volunteering solutions soon. I loved the host family. Every person was really kind and loving. The meals were really good but the best point was to meet those amazing people. My coordinator was really kind and clarifying. Jenny is an excellent person. I will for sure recommend Volunteering Solutions! It was really well organized and everything was perfect.”

“What areas did you like about our website? Your Website is very easy to navigate and user friendly. How did you find the Pre Departure Booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? The Pre-departure covered the most important areas and prepared us well. Thank You!! What you have to say about Coordinator/Staff? Jenny Torres was outstanding. She was extremely helpful with all of our questions and concerns and made sure we had a safe and enjoyable experience. Did you enjoy working at your project/placement? Yes we had a great time with Ivann and the staff at the clinic. They were all very friendly and welcomed us into their clinics. How was your meals and accommodation? The accommodation was ideal for our family. We were all able to live together which was great. Luisa was an outstanding cook and she made us feel right at home. What was the highlight of your Volunteering experiences and your trip? The ability to spend time with my family and help those in great need. What did you learn while volunteering? Please describe it. I learned that there is a great need in the clinics here in Cusco. What is the impact volunteers do in Cusco? They offer a helping hand to those working in the clinics and schools. What are the achievements and challenges faced while in Cusco? The lack the personnel in the clinics. This is what the staff told us many times. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? Yes. I would recommend this program because Jenny does a great job coordinating everything and there is so much to do in Cusco and the surrounding areas.”

“What areas did you like about our website? Price programs and the testimonials from previous volunteers. Any recommendations to improve the website More pictures about the programs and accommodation. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? Sahil was very helpful when I called the office. When I got in contact with him everything went very smoothly. He was prompt in answering my questions and was a big help. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Yes it was a lot of fun working at the kindergarten. Both the teacher and the kids were sweet and fun to be with. I felt useful as I saw up-to 20 kids with just one teacher and as I got to teach English the program became more fun and meaningful. I just loved all the kids. Accommodation and meals Both accommodation and meals were the Best !!! Jenny and her family were very inviting and I felt like I was a part of the family. Louisa&#39 s meals were incredible and I have to say that as my first time volunteering in another country I was very lucky. Jenny and her family have definitely spoiled me. The next country I decide to go to volunteer have to meet to standards that the family have set. Coordinator The coordinator Jenny was very supportive in answering my questions and provided me with detailed information about the placement. She was also very concerned for my safety and well being. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? The highlight of my volunteering experience was definitely the children. They could not have been lovelier ! Every day that I got to be with them was special and unforgettable. The highlight of my trip was staying with the host family and getting immersed in the culture which I have never done before. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES Any comments and suggestions Volunteering Solutions is a very affordable organization. I would suggest advertising a bit more about the organization so that it encourages students like me to volunteer in countries that need help. The Per program is very affordable and I have had one of the best experiences of my life!”

“The website is very easy to use explanation of programs is very nice too. The pre departure booklet was very helpful too. I liked my program placement. I really liked my students and enjoyed every class I participated in. Also during my stay there was a special holiday &quot Corpus Christi&quot . On that day I experienced Peruvian culture. I loved it. And my host Mother&#39 s birthday party. So much fun :) Host family was kind and treated me like a family member. Bedroom was quite nice and the meals were not that bad. I enjoyed a lot. Loving and helping disabled children was exceptional. You learn how to be patient and how to give love so I would surely recommend this program to my friends.”

“What areas did you like about our website? I liked the posting of personal experiences from other volunteers. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? It was very informative. I read it several times to make sure I did not miss anything. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Yes I have enjoyed it very much. Working in the day care was a very enjoyable and rewarding experience. Accommodation and meals I was extremely happy with both our accommodation and meals. We were treated wonderfully. Jenny and her family always made us feel at home. I feel privileged to have been able to spend time with Jenny and her family. Luisa our host mother will always have a special place in my heart. She made sure we had great meals and shared very good information with us. Spending time in the kitchen with her was my favorite. She is one of the best persons I&rsquo ve met. I am going to miss her as well as the rest of the family. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? The highlight of my volunteering experience was playing with the kids and watching them enjoy the materials we brought. The highlights of the entire trip were spending time with Luisa our host mother. She is wonderful. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no Yes!”

“Pre Departure Volunteering Solutions was very helpful and sent us all the relevant information quickly and promptly. The staff at Volunteering Solutions were always ready to help and were always happy to answer any of our questions. Arrival/Airport Pickup The local coordinator Martha and Jess an English girl who came to translate for us were waiting for us at Cusco airport when our plane arrived. They were holding a big sign with our names on it so there was no confusion as to where we were supposed to go or who we were supposed to meet. Placement/Volunteer Project Our placement was very rewarding and we really enjoyed getting involved with the kids. We are sad to leave them. Accommodation and meals Our host family is so friendly and welcoming and we have really enjoyed staying with them and spending time with them. Our family has really gone out of their way to provide a new and interesting food to us every meal time and they have been delicious! Coordinator Jenny our country coordinator has been really helpful and is always calling us and checking up on everything. She has made us feel very safe! Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES”
