“Really nice jacket when on. It's very breathable when you take the liner out. The liner flap can be a bit fiddly to get straight but that's a minor down point for a very well put together summer jacket. As always Urban riders service was spot on and even priced matched and within a couple of hours I had a discount code in my inbox.”

“GREAT JACKET! Hot AF and it gives a really good look if you buy a fitted size. I am 5'8" 175lbs and athletic build and I bought a small... perfect fit. The Merlin jacket would get a 5 star if a wrist button didn't fall off right away. I think that is just a one-off but it still shouldn't happen.”

“First of all, I already own Merlin leather jacket, and I love it. I would have loved this jacket as well, except there's one issue with it. It's covered in grease. Not just the cotton, but the mesh, the zipper, the snaps, everything. By the time I put in on and zip it up, I need to go wash my hands with soap multiple times. I've never owned a waxed jacket, so I don't know if that's how it's supposed to be, but I would not want to touch my phone, wallet, or stick my greasy hands into expensive motorcycle gloves after touching this jacket. I owned North Face rain jackets, but this material is nothing like those rain jackets. Absolutely gross. I don't understand how everyone else are not complaining about this in reviews, but I will never buy another waxed jacket again.”

“Much lighter than expected so the weight was excellent. The mesh design created a great airflow especially here in New Zealand where the weather changes at the drop of a hat. But it also wasn't too cold in the evenings. This was also the best price I could find so happy to keep using the urbanriders website.”

“It ticks all the things I'm looking for a jacket and not to mention all I need too. Things I loved in this jacket. Classic/retro look. mesh for air flow for warm weather. removable waterproof lining for rainy days. no compromises from fabric, liners, D3O pads, buttons and zips. they even have a leather lining on the collar for added comfort.”
