A good, stylish summer mesh jacket. Although longer in the body than most summer jackets it could do with being another inch or two longer. The armour is D30 but a level 2 upgrade could be offered at time of sale, I know black is a popular colour but as the jacket is designed for warmer weather the option of a lighter colour would be good as would matching trousers. Overall the best I could find but a couple of minor changes would make this a 5 star product.

Really like this jacket it looks good, feels high quality and fits well, XXL on a 48" chest also plenty of useful pockets, Lets face it were all going to sweat buckets whatever we wear on a really hot day. The Shenstone provides great air flow, on one odd chilly morning I was pleased to have the inner liner which made a big difference and took it out when it warmed up. My only criticism would be narrow cuffs so not much point having the pop stud as it barely reaches to snap home.

Perfect for places with tropical climate. Cools you off on hot weathers, and keeps you wet when raining. All these plus the awesome design!

Finally, the search for a hot-weather riding jacket that isn't uncomfortable or hideous is over. This jacket is really well-made and designed, and fits a good deal better than Merlin's too-roomy axe flannel. I do find that the shoulder and elbow armor don't sit as securely as I could wish, but I'm replacing both with LP2 and that should help. Also replaced the back armor with Level 2 D30. (Wearing size S; I generally take a 38-40, being 5'8, 155.) The mesh moves a lot of air. I've ridden in 90 degrees and was very comfortable once at speed. And it looks good too.

Medium fits me great. I live in Los Angeles and the jacket flows tons of air which is perfect for the climate here. Great style and build quality too. First Merlin kit, would definitely buy more of their stuff.

It's really cool without the inner lining and still cool enough with it in when there's a shower. Quality product.
