“I had been waiting to order this for a while. Many reviews had mentioned sizing down which I did but then had to return for the size up, my normal size. Really nice quality. With back protector it still looks and feels like a normal jacket. Only used once so far but very pleased.”

“I love the Merlin Edale Jacket. It’s comfy, the fit is great and I like Merlin because I am a size smaller! Ha. I have been in the rain and kept dry and paired it with the Lombard trousers for a great waterproof combo. The adequate vents and removable liner mean I am confident that (with possibly the exception of the hottest summer days), this will serve me very well.”

“I've always liked the styling of Merlin clothing, the classic look with classic styling made for classic bikes. The quilted pattern across the shoulder and the back of the arms was the main reason for purchasing yet another Merlin wax jacket, and this is what stands out for me. The jacket is of the usual Merlin quality which is always good, and the pricing is always reasonably priced for protective motorcycle clothing. I've been using this Jacket for the past few months and even during the chilly days, I've only ever worn a single T shirt yet never been cold. I can imagine with the weather getting better, removal of the thermal liner will be enough to continue wearing T shirts and not feel too hot. The addition of the extra rear pocket is a nice touch and Merlin have kept the inside breast zip pocket which is just where I like to keep my mobile. Sizing is spot on so thumbs up there! As usual, Urban Rider was up to their standard of same day dispatch and next day delivery. Another bonus of their loyalty program knocking off a wedge of cash at checkout is always comforting. Well done UR!!”

“Have been wearing the jacket daily for 4 weeks since I bought it. I stopped changing jackets between school runs and hopping on a bike for work now as the jacket is light and comfortable and the protection is so slimline you do not look like you walkaround with pine apples for shoulders and surfboard on your back. I am a medium in stretchy t-shirts and sweaters but wider in the chest and shoulders hence I bought large and it fits me well with all the protection and layers on and I use the strings to taper the waist slightly. Rode with the jacket in pouring rain (stayed dry as a bone) and warmer sun without taking out the warm layer (vents do the trick) over September 10-20 degrees. Jacket arrived with a broken off button but urban rider staff were kind enough to send me spares as I wanted to keep the last Olive coloured one.”
