“Excellent small monitor. I didn't put it on top of the RaspberryPi, because I had the whole start kit box for the computer, so I put it aside on a mobile phone holder as a monitor stand. Simple and perfect in every way.”
“The screen looks crystal clear, albeit everything is very small. Quick question for anyone reading, what would be the best stylus to use - my fingers are just too big!!”
“Looks good, and does what it says on the tin. The touch sensor is nice and responsive. The colours are a little washed out, and the stand off mounts a bit brittle, but otherwise it’s a nice product.”
“It worked out the box with Pi3 running Bullseye, no config needed, and the brass spacers included made a nice compact self-contained unit.
It can be a little bit sluggish, but I expect that's down to the rest of the hardware.
Looking forward to trying it with my Pi5, but that needs a separate cable, shame that wasn't included.”
“Excellent product, works very well.
I did have a bit of a mishap where I dropped it (only about 6 inches), the screen glass immediately smashed rendering it useless, it still lit up but nothing could be seen. Be a bit careful - although it has a toughened glass screen that really only refers to scratch resistance etc.
Although it was my fault entirely PiHut replaced it FOC, a level of customer service you don't normally see !”
“Really easy to set up (some small changed needed to the config file, and a reboot) and then it just worked! Really pleased that I could also run ‘dual screen’ with HDMI output. Resolution is what I expected, which when anti-aliased looks perfectly good and certainly ideal for what I want. I’ve not tried the touch-screen capability yet, as I don’t really need that functionality.”
