This has been a very welcome add in my Rpi3/Volumio network streamer. The DSI cable interface makes for zero conflicts with the GPIO when using a DAC hat. The side view angle is good, the vertical is not great but acceptable considering the price: for better results it should be AMOLED with 4-5 times higher price. All in all, is a good LCD!

Excellent little screen - works perfectly and easy to configure. With a bit of creative 3D printing, it works nicely as a screen for a retro computer emulator - got one coupled to a Pi 3B+ running C64/Spectrum/Amstrad bare metal emulators - just about perfect for that kind of setup. Can't fault the service from the Pi Hut either - friendly, helpful and always fast delivery.

This is really nice display. It's well made and has a satisfying weight to it which helps the stability of the Pi I have connected to it. I am using it with Volumio and a GPIO mounted DAC. It works well with the Pi screen plugin. I'm using a couple of the long brass standoffs which came in the box to create a make shift stand for it in portrait mode. The Waveshare wiki has some useful tips for orientation and brightness control. All in all I am happy to recommend this display.
