“This 2.13" E-Ink Display pHAT is a fantastic addition to any low-power, always-on project. The crisp 250x122 resolution provides sharp text and graphics, making it perfect for dashboards, weather displays, or e-paper badges. The ultra-low power consumption is a major plus, as the screen retains its image even when powered off. Setup was straightforward, and it works seamlessly with Raspberry Pi. Refresh times are a bit slow, as expected with e-ink, but for static or occasional updates, it’s perfect. Highly recommended for e-paper enthusiasts!”

“The display interfaces to the PI zero very easily and would slso connect to other PIs using the supplied cable fine. Display refresh of the screen is quite offputting and takes a long time. It flashes the whole screen many times during refresh before finally updating with the new image data. In order to use the device using python the only documentation for coding is to base in on their example. All Waveshare display software is bundled as one huge package and almost impossible to filter to just the bit you need for a specific display. In summary it does the job but could really benefit from some splitting up of the software and some documentation.”
