“Brilliant. Fits beautifully on my Pi Zero, which itself is mounted on a HQ camera. The code samples in the documentation give you all the information you need to get up and running. Obviously you’re (probably) not going to be playing games on an e-ink display, but it’s a great, low energy way to show status information, etc.
As usual, a speedy, reliable delivery.”
“This is a nice display as long as you do not need fast refresh. There are e-ink display with faster refresh, but not at this price point. They are suitable for applications where the screen update happens infrequently, and careful programming with partial updates can make it work well. On the plus side it's quite high resolution (only black/white though - not greyscale) and very clear. You will need to go to wavshare's website, and follow the instructions to get it working with python and that included building one library package from scratch. Getting this working is probably for the more experienced user.”
“This is my first eInk display and I haven't explored advanced features much yet. However, it's been fantastic so far and a breeze to use. Updates are fast and pixel size is brilliant.
Most definitely a go-to display for a Raspberry Pi Zero hat.”
