“I'm using this with a tower running Unraid and it's perfect. It's powered from the tower via USB (no need for an external plug) and the HDMI runs to the motherboard.
Only complaint is the USB / HDMI ports (in my case anyway) leave the cables jutting out a bit. Nothing a 90 degree adapter can't fix, but worth bearing in mind when you order.”
“The screen malfunctions and displays artifacts.. only able to be powered on for 2-3 minutes before the display starts bleeding light around all the edges.”
“This is a great little screen for attaching to a Pi. The Pi mounts on the back and the various ports are all accessible. The screen is very sharp and the touch sensitivity works well.
The 'case' is a bit flimsy, and is really only a plastic surround to the front of the screen - still, it does the job.
The HDMI cable provided is a bit stiff and protrudes noticeably when attached to the screen and pi. I bought a replacement cable that doesn't protrude and it looks much better.”
“On my Pi 4: After down installing the keyboard software, and amending the config file, followed by a little adventure setting the resolution in raspy-config, the screen worked as it says on the box and better than a couple of alternatives I have tried. Only real niggle is that the uncommon screen pixel size makes reverting to headless using VCN a little fiddly.”
“Screen is very good, case has small gap between screen and case. Mound for pi allows
access to the microSD card unlike some other combined screen/pi cases.”
