The use case is to connect to raspberry pis of various types, which I mostly use over ssh. Sometimes it is useful to connect to a local terminal - setting wifi on site, for instance. I don't want to haul 3kg of screen around with me, hence this. It does the job (mostly command line, although the X display and touch functions work fine. Instructions on their website say use debian Buster, not Bullseye. This is no longer true, Bullseye works fine. I need to fiddle with the xterm config so that xterm recognises the device. Should not be difficult. The case is useful, although the stand is a bit flimsy - keep the box and packaging it comes in, very useful.

Great service from The PiHut, came next day with plenty of communication. Looks like a great screen and came with all the accessories you need, haven't tried it yet as I'm still waiting for my Pi 4 from another company. Should have used The Pi Hut. I'll definitely use them again.

Cracking little screen. Just what I needed for going out and about. A bit fiddly to put together and to get it to work with the Pi...... but hey thats half of the fun isn't it!!! Right price, well worth it!!!

Does the job nicely. For working with the Pi4B, an HDMI cable and micro HDMI converter were supplied, but with the converter, the cable sticks out a long way and puts a lot of stress on the micro HDMI socket. It ideally needs an HDMI to micro cable with an angled connector. Also had to install a legacy operating system on the Pi for compatibility.
