Nice looking case, easy to assemble and fits well, but the screws are a fraction too short, a couple wouldn't catch the threads enough on the top to tighten. Also found that (as expected) when fully enclosed the temperature of the Pi rises, which causes the PoE hat fan to run for longer periods - and boy is that fan noisy, so if you're looking for a silent solution then this isn't the one. I removed the sides of the case and stood it up on it's side to allow better airflow, but the Pi temperature sat right on the fan threshold so teh fan still kicked in and out regularly. Had to move to a different case and drop PoE on the one that I needed to be silent.

Would have given 5 stars but for one thing. The side piece for the power and video sockets is too thick to allow plugs to reach. I CNC machined the same out of 2mm acrylic, and it works a treat. I also made a cutout for pi3 series as well. Cmon Pihut it would make it a winner!

Nice little box, easy to assemble when comparing to the picture of the completed one. Does not come with ANY assembly instructions and none are available online.

The case is supplied for DIY assembly as laser cut pieces. This is unlikely to be an issue for most Pi enthusiasts, and it assembled easily enough. The final look is distinctly clunky compared to some of the Pi3 non-PoE injection moulded cases, and this would cause some issues on the domestic bliss if I were intending it to be visible in use. A minor issue is the use of plastic standoffs as it's all to easy to strip the threads when doing up the top or bottom screws.

Fits the boards as stated but some of the socket apertures can restrict connections.

Comes as a cut sheet of acrylic, instructions are for an older version but can be worked out easily enough. Useful once assembled.

The case is good, and easy to assemble. The Pi is well secured in the case. I have two problems with the case, though: 1. Air flow: There is an opening to let air into the case, just above the PoE HAT fan. The problem is that there are to few exits, so air gets trapped inside the case. The result is that the fan runs almost constantly to keep the Pi cooled. 2. The top screws are too short to keep the lid securely on. On two of my three cases, the lid is barely hanging on as the screws only just reach the "bushings"/nuts. I have one of my Pis on my work desk, and to make the airflow a little better (and the fan noise less intrusive for me and my colleagues), I removed the wall on the SD card end. This makes the fan run a little less frequent, but it is still running much more often than when the Pi was running naked (no case). Two long openings over the "thepihut.com" text and the HDMI ports would increase airflow and help keep the RPi cooler. There is definitely a need for this case, and if the issues could be addressed then this would be the best option for Pis with PoE HATs.
