You didn't send me the POE hat version. It was the non POE hat version

Used this with the Pi PoE hat; works well enough. Use the smallest spacer with screw under the main Pi board at the bottom of the stack, then use the longer spacer with screw above this, sandwiching the board between them, then add the PoE hat; screw the spacer with no screw sticking out onto this, sandwiching the PoE hat, then use screws to hold the outside of the case onto the spacer stack. If you struggle to get any of the side pieces in, just try them in every possible orientation, or carefully examine the photo in the article description to figure it out - the LAN/USB side is the trickiest to get right, but it does work with no modification on the Pi4. Note that you cannot fit a heatsink under the hat (at least, https://thepihut.com/products/xl-raspberry-pi-4-heatsink does not fit) as things stick out of the board and get in the way.

Nice looking case, easy to assemble and fits well, but the screws are a fraction too short, a couple wouldn't catch the threads enough on the top to tighten. Also found that (as expected) when fully enclosed the temperature of the Pi rises, which causes the PoE hat fan to run for longer periods - and boy is that fan noisy, so if you're looking for a silent solution then this isn't the one. I removed the sides of the case and stood it up on it's side to allow better airflow, but the Pi temperature sat right on the fan threshold so teh fan still kicked in and out regularly. Had to move to a different case and drop PoE on the one that I needed to be silent.

Would have given 5 stars but for one thing. The side piece for the power and video sockets is too thick to allow plugs to reach. I CNC machined the same out of 2mm acrylic, and it works a treat. I also made a cutout for pi3 series as well. Cmon Pihut it would make it a winner!

Nice little box, easy to assemble when comparing to the picture of the completed one. Does not come with ANY assembly instructions and none are available online.

The case is supplied for DIY assembly as laser cut pieces. This is unlikely to be an issue for most Pi enthusiasts, and it assembled easily enough. The final look is distinctly clunky compared to some of the Pi3 non-PoE injection moulded cases, and this would cause some issues on the domestic bliss if I were intending it to be visible in use. A minor issue is the use of plastic standoffs as it's all to easy to strip the threads when doing up the top or bottom screws.

Fits the boards as stated but some of the socket apertures can restrict connections.
