“The wording has been changed and the offer relates just to a case. It was purchased to include the POE but the item refers only to the case now , which is very expensive on its own. I will not purchase anything from this company again because I don't consider this to be fair trading. I have been in business for over 50 years and would never treat my customers in this way.”
“The PoE+ HAT Case is easy to assemble, is very solid & provides good protection. One of the four screws on the top wouldn't screw in despite the case components all looking lined up properly. Tried other screws of the same kind but same issue. As the case & contents are secure without the fourth screw it doesn't really matter.”
“Nice and accurately made case. I 'converted' a Pi4 I use as an IOT server to run PoE as a trial and the case fits the bill nicely. As an interim solution whilst I waited for a PoE router, I also managed to fit a large passive heat sink which worked very well too, mixing and matching the screws and spacers from each kit to make a solution.”
“Cracking little case, good materials, well made and easy to assemble. Decent airflow for cooling and good access to all the ports.
Delivery was fast, next day I think and everything was well packaged with good communications from ordering and tracking.”
“Nice little case but given it four stars as one of the threads would not hold one of the screws.
That's the problem with little plastic screws and threads.
Still outside of that the case is well ventilated and the pi sits around 50c which is the same when it's out of the case. The 50c is because I have set the POE+ Hat fan speed a tad lower and not to kick in until it hits 50c. This has made the POE+ hat useable at long last.”
“Excellent design. I already had one for a Pi 4, but thought it worth trying with the 3B+.
Please NB. that the description for the latest version of this case explicitly states that the 3B+ will not fit, so I should not recommend it for that purpose (although I find it perfect for the Pi 4).
Notwithstanding that, it seems fine for the 3B+ with POE Hat. I simply did not try to fit the long side with the port cutouts, which are obviously specific to the Pi 4. Leaving one of the sides off may improve ventilation slightly, too.”
