The case could use an instruction manual as to how to set it on the Raspberry. I ended up figuring it out on my own, but still. The fans are very quiet, however, it took me some tweaking to get them not to scrape on the case and work silently and efficiently. They got quite annoying scraping and I even turned them off until I figured it out. I don't even think they are that necessary, but I'll check once I put the Pi to a rigorous processing test. I would say 8/10.

Let's start off with the good: This is a copy of the original GeeekPi case for the Pi3b+. A very good copy and better than the GeeekPi did for the 4. The bad: Some assembly is required the fans had to be attached manually. The wiring is way too long, its not braided. Also the header sticks out a couple mm longer than the GeeekPi version. If the wiring was shorter then it probably of got a 5.

Works perfectly at keeping pi operating temp low

In general good case, keeps temp at around 30C, but the fans start being noisy after some time. These can be quiet for a while but left running for longer they let you know your Pi is on.

Having purchased an armoured case for my first Pi which worked fine, i thought I would try the fan version. The fan is very quiet running on a shelf above my head at my computer desk and the unit normally runs at about 35 Deg C compared with 40-45 Deg C for the non fan version. It is not as neat looking because the power leads for the fan stick up 25mm above the case.

My PI now lives permanently turned on behind my living room TV, it can barely be heard if at all, and the temps are 30-40° lower. A well made and effective case
