Good quality case. The heatsink works so well, that you probably don't need the fans, unless you're doing some very intensive work.

This heatsink case works very well on my Pi 4B. It keeps the 3 chips temperature to around 10 or so degrees above ambient room temperature. The highest CPU temperature seen was 56 degrees centigrade. The ambient at the time was mid 30's. The CPU was working hard at the time, but not flat out. The fans are silent in operation and seem to do a good job. There are a few of minor negatives... Power for the fans is from the main I/O pins which makes it difficult to connect to nearby pins. A HAT wouldn't fit directly on top and there are no screw holes on the fan side of the heat sink to mount anything above the heat sink. To sum up. I am very pleased with the performance of the heat sink and I will be rerouting the fan supply wires and soldering under the the board to the 5 volt supply.

Okay this is a good case its solid and sturdy and keeps the pi relatively cool (45-50ish C) . The issue is due to the nature of the solid metal it blocks a significant amount of wifi signal (I get 3/5 bars next to my router). If your planning on using RaspAp then this is usless as it blocks almost ALL the signal. I have my phone trying to connect the the AP the pi was broadcasting and even on top of the case it only found 1 bar once I moved a foot away no signal at all. This isn't an issue if you just want this hard wired obviously but worth noting if you need to connect to wifi the case will seriously reduce the signal. If you want to broadcast wifi from the Pi its a no go.

The heatsink I originally ordered did not ha a fan and overclocking the Pi it seemed to run quite warm, so I had an old 3" fan that I rested on top and it cooled down considerably so I ordered the dual fan heatsink and it keeps the whole thing nice and cool. Well worth buying.

Delivered promptly, there were no instructions with it but it was pretty straightforward to install. Only minor issue is that the instructions were for the fanless case so I had to do a bit of research to find out which port to connect the fans to.
