“My Pi 4 is very happy in this case. It was simple to put together (in fact most of the assembly was done by a seven year old with a bit of supervision), and the end result is a pleasingly solid block of shiny aluminium that looks good on the desk. Without any active cooling, the case does get a bit warm to the touch (even under fairly minimal system load) but I've yet to manage to get the case properly hot.”
“The case is very nice, fits really well and includes thermal pads to help cool the hot bits on the board, my pi sits around 50 degrees with this on, maybe I should have bought the one with the fan, never mind. The only issue I had was one of the screen holes wasn't drilled all the way through so I just had to finish it off, no biggie”
“Keeps my Pi4x4Gb around 40-50 C. I think connecting a camera will be an issue as there is minimal access to the on board connector.
The thermal stickers appear to have different sides. I put the sticky side on the upper case first, then fitted it to the Pi so they stay more on the case rather than the Pi chips (I am not sure if this is the correct fitting method). Do not over tighten the bolts, this can cause the device to freeze.”
