The base unit is a thing of beauty. Kit does not have two leads for the monitor nor a case whcih would have been nice. Also the SD card is limited at 32Gb.

Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. Runs so fast and can handle really high quality videos and a lot of programs open at once. Looking into buying the pi500 monitor to complete the setup. Brilliant purchase!

surprisingly, considering the cost, the pi 500 desktop hardware is as a very competent cost effective day to day PC. Effortlessly managing 4k streaming as well as gmail, document editing etc. Highly recommended !

This is a nice way to access the Raspberry Pi - less need to find all the right cables and cope with the resulting rats nest on your desk - various ways to get all the pins out to a breadboard. It is good.

Simple to set up and plug into the monitor, cables feel a bit chunky for their purpose. Wish the power supply came with a twice longer lead as if you aren't close to an outlet it can be an issue. Other than that, cracking product.

Using the Raspberry 500 is such a breath of fresh air compared to my Windows 11 PC. It's simple to use, no bloatware, no A.I, and it doesn't keep telling me what to do. Currently using it for Office documents (LibreOffice), Browsing (Firefox), and streaming (YouTube / Twitch). I am soon to introduce Email / Calendar (Thunderbird) and accessing files on my MS OneDrive (Rclone) to it. It's just like a friendly pet that just wants to please it's owner.

I absolutely love the pi500, I am only disappointed that the pi 5 Ubuntu isn't working on it yet.
