“The base unit is a thing of beauty. Kit does not have two leads for the monitor nor a case whcih would have been nice. Also the SD card is limited at 32Gb.”

“This is a nice way to access the Raspberry Pi - less need to find all the right cables and cope with the resulting rats nest on your desk - various ways to get all the pins out to a breadboard. It is good.”
“Simple to set up and plug into the monitor, cables feel a bit chunky for their purpose. Wish the power supply came with a twice longer lead as if you aren't close to an outlet it can be an issue.

“Using the Raspberry 500 is such a breath of fresh air compared to my Windows 11 PC. It's simple to use, no bloatware, no A.I, and it doesn't keep telling me what to do. Currently using it for Office documents (LibreOffice), Browsing (Firefox), and streaming (YouTube / Twitch). I am soon to introduce Email / Calendar (Thunderbird) and accessing files on my MS OneDrive (Rclone) to it. It's just like a friendly pet that just wants to please it's owner.”
