“Makes setting up your Pi(s) a doddle. The screen is BRIGHT! It's fairly sharp for what it is and the fit and finish is excellent. Quick delivery and a decent price given the quality. Buy the frame with it, a bit fiddly to put together but it really does a good job and don't forget the little power lead. Overall you'll end up with a neater job.”
“I used this screen for a portable retropie/kodi build for an in-car entertainment system for my kids. It works like a dream for retropie, and I can still get HDMI out for when I want to do big screen gaming. Response time is great, touchscreen accuracy is spot on. No touch support for retropie at present, which was a bit disappointing for scummvm, but I have also used it as a kiosk screen for installations, and also as a document reader. The documentation is good and there are some excellent cases for printing on thingiverse if you search. The power lead is a little bit of an inconvenient position, you might want to consider a 90 degree adapter to get both power leads in. Needs a fairly beefy PSU if you are powering a pi3 and the screen over gpio. Get the official 2.5A PSU to avoid disappointment.”
“Used it with picoreplayer. Tested with raspbian buy got some lagging. Will try again later withRaspian as I want to have more apps running on it not just Picoreplayer/squeezelite.”
“I purchased this touchscreen display for my partner for Christmas and he is delighted with it. It arrived promptly and was packed well. Although I am not technically minded, he assures me that this is ideal for the things he wants to do with his Pi. Thank you.”
