“This is the older, original Pi touchscreen and as such fits many more existing cases. In my case it fits a KKSB case with a Pi5.
So simple to install and configure, the mounts make for a good strong piece of kit. In use the screen is very nice, responsive and clear. Although the lower resolution doesn't sound great compared to the newer version, it works and I know these screens will last for years to come.”
“Easy to follow instructions and worked first time with no issue on a Pi 5, and fitted into a KKSB case, resulting in a pleasingly industrial looking chunky tablet”
“I've used the screen to fit in a case along with Pi4 to act as a display and controller for a music server on my network. The screen is relatively straight forward to attach to the Pi4, mount in the case and screw in. The finshed product looks very nice and other than the installation of a screen based keyboard and flipping the screen the right way up worked straight out of the box.”
“I've bought this to use as a remote kiosk mode small wall panel in a Home Assistant project and so far I'm very pleased I decided on this touchscreen. The sceen resolution is perfect for this project and it works straight out-of-the-box when connected with my Raspberry Pi 5.”
