“The display is easy to set up and works well. The touchscreen is sensitive and responsive, but not overly so making it easy to use. Being critical the colours aren't particularly accurate and viewing angles are relatively poor. Having said that, I'm using a Pi2 and the display as a touch screen media/music player in the kitchen and it works really well for this purpose.”
“This is an excellent little 7" display which gives a very sharp picture. It fits neatly into the case and works well with the official power supply. I have used it successfully with the on-screen 'matchbox-keyboard'.
Readers should bear in mind that:
(a) as the screen is only 7 inches so the keyboard on-screen letters are tiny and you need to use a mouse to click the on-screen keys,
(b) as the PSU connector is on the underside of the case, you cannot stand the display on its bottom edge without some support,
(c) to change the SD card the screen must be dismantled from the case. In contrast the Ethernet, USB and A/V sockets are easily accessed.”
“The screen is part of a gift so I can't comment yet on whether it works well, but the prices of everything are amazing, it arrived well packaged and quickly and it's a nice way of having a dedicated screen for the raspberry Pi, instead of connecting to a computer or TV screen.”
“Excellent quality, really bright and crisp display. Easy to set up and the instructions for rotating the screen in software are very easy to follow. Only negative I have is that the ribbon cable connecting the display to the RPi makes removing the MicroSD card a little tricky.”
