“As a beginner to the world of the Raspberry Pi I bought the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ together with the Official Raspberry Pi 7inch Touch Screen Display. Wiring the two together presented no problems but it was impossible to start the Raspberry Pi using the touch screen since I could not input the necessary instructions because the touch screen was itself inoperable at that time. So I had to buy a separate keyboard and mouse. Not a good start to using the Raspberry Pi. Why is this not mentioned in the sales description? I then found it impossible to input the EduKit 1 Python programme worksheets using the touch screen feature. I had to revert to the keyboard and mouse. Again why is this basic information not made clear in the sales literature and worksheets?”
“Good quality display easy to setup.
Black border on the long side is not symmetrical, so making it look good in portrait orientation requires some creativity.”
