Arrived quickly and safely packaged from Pi Hut. Working perfectly so far. The only quibble, and this isn't a Pi Hut issue, is that there's no obvious space for the battery itself to sit inside the official case, especially when you have the official cooler installed, as I do. It does rattle about. But as I said, not a Pi Hut issue.

The addition of a dedicated battery for the real-time clock in the Raspberry Pi 5 is a feature that truly stands out. This rechargeable button cell, effortlessly integrated into the device, ensures continuous clock functionality even without main power. Its easy placement inside the case, aided by an adhesive pad, is a testament to the user-friendly design. I am extremely pleased with the reliability and autonomy it brings to the Raspberry Pi 5. For anyone involved in projects where accurate timekeeping is crucial, especially in the IoT space, I would definitely recommend this battery feature. It's a small but impactful enhancement that makes a big difference in the long-term effectiveness of the Raspberry Pi 5.
