“Glad to get a RTC Battery for the Pi 5. It comes with a sticky pad but not sure where the battery is supposed to stick to in the official Raspberry Pi 5 case so I tucked it behind the GPIO pins as I’m not I using them at the moment. Good service from the PiHut”
“Easy install and setup. Many of my projects don't require a connection except when archiving saved data logs, but do often have the pi booting up when needed, and having a steady clock just makes everything easier.”
“Battery is fine (using instructions on Raspberry Pi site) but delivery situation on website is bizarre. Raised a support case but the answer I received also seemed incorrect/incomplete. Added notes to case but no response. In a sense its ok, as I am not likely to order another Lithium battery, but disappointing nonetheless.”
