Easy to fit, appears to be well made. The heatsink does a good job on its own, the fan is only needed for intensive tasks. I've ran YouTube and a few other open tabs on noth Ubuntu and Pi OS without the fan coming on. Very good service and competitive prices, excellent service from The Pi Hut.

I don't know how hot my RPi5 is going to get so I decided to get the cooler. At the moment running the desktop it doesn't run at all so it's nice and quiet with low loading.

Manages to keep the Pi5 below 50'C no matter what it's doing. That's amazing considering the fan rarely kicks in and even then it's still quiet. Haven't seen the Pi5 throttle or slow at all, and this seems to cover all the main chips too.

The Active cooler is of good quality and the engineering is precise. The contact pads are well positioned and fit snugly onto the on-board components for optimum heat transfer. Performance to date is fine and noise levels are low. I personally ordered my Pi and active cooler on pre-order - taking approximately 3 months to finally get delivered. When I started looking at cases after my Pi and cooler had been delivered, I realised that the majority of cases actually have either active or passive cooling built in. So would I purchase the active cooler again - probably not.
