“Great little bit of kit. Reduced my CPU temperature by around 25 degrees C. Runs quiet. Simple to install with the supplied instructions. The only issue I had was a slight manufacturing defect obscured one of the pin holes with plastic, resulting in my bending one of the pins in the socket. Easily remedied with a pair of needle nosed pliers. Great products backed as ever by the legendary service from The Pi Hut.”

“I recently picked up 4 of the Active Coolers for my Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB) boards, and I have to say, they’ve exceeded my expectations. Installation was really straightforward — everything lined up perfectly, and they feel really solid and well-made.
Once I got them running, the temperature drop was immediate. Even when I’m pushing the Pi 5 hard (running Docker containers, compiling code, and some light AI work), the boards now stay cool and stable. The fans are quiet too — you can barely hear them, but they do an amazing job keeping things at a steady temperature.
I’m genuinely impressed with the performance difference. It’s a simple upgrade that makes a big impact, especially if you’re using your Pi for heavier workloads or in a cluster setup like I am.
