Looks great, and seems to be perfectly functional as an upgrade to the Raspberry Pi 4, though as I have only received this it will take a bit more going into to get the most out of it. The OS can be a little flaky as after installing this I lost the menus, but now have them back, this is the first time I have experienced this on a Pi.

Not long had this however got a few ideas for this pi5. Love how it has its own power button. Been longing for this. Shame the placement of the connection is different to the pi 4. Would have liked to see some backward compatible with previous cases. It should be 2.4 times more powerful than its predecessor the pi 4. Time will tell. Overall. I have been looking forward to getting this

Faster Pi5 opens up more applications, especially when used with Pi active cooler.

Skipped the Raspberry Pi 4 because of the price en stock. But when this one came in pre-order I haven't waited a moment. Very happy with it. Can run almost everything. Great computer.

Excellent piece of kit, a good service received from the Pi hut. Delivery was easy and the Pi arrived well-packaged.

Great improvement over the Pi 4 in terms of performance. Although the 4 wasn't a bad desktop, the CPU and GPU improvements of the 5 make this a really nice machine to use with GUI. Being able to power down the Pi is a real advantage. Needs a lot of 5v power (5A) which most PSUs can't supply, so I strongly recommend the Pi power supply. Shame the Pi doesn't support WoL (Wake on LAN) but it's not a big deal. Looking forward to getting my NVMe PCIE hat in the next few weeks (hopefully) and seeing how fast the Pi runs when booting off NVMe. Couple of minor issues getting the Pi camera 3 working, but I'm sure it just needs a little more tinkering time. Note for those using screens and cameras, the Pi5 has a smaller ribbon connector, but the Pi Hut supplies adapter cables.
