“Love it. I mainly use it as a desktop computer running Ubuntu with the RP 7 touch screen(not use the touch feature, using a keyboard and mouse). I got the active cooler but I don't think I use it heavily enough to trip the cooler most of the time. Waiting for Ubuntu 24.04 in a few weeks to try and get the camera module 3 working.
Support for a decent case that can work with the monitor and SSD drive(s) would be a nice to have.”
“I brought a raspberry pi 5 and it was delivered in excellent time, I will continue to purchase from this company for the outstanding service they provide.
Ontop of that they have a fantastic selection of gadgets and competitive prices.
Great company to purchase from highly recommend.”
“This is my first Pi5, going a bit down the route of a desktop computer, but just keeping enough of the original spirit of the Pi to promote programming, and digital / physical making.”
“Nice little computer. A fantastic device with immense power and capabilities. It's more powerful than all of its predecessors. I am fully satisfied with my pi.”
“Powerful, easy to set up. Mine has a 500GB NVMe and a USB sound dongle for stereo sound out. Everything plugged together and worked. The NVMe PCI card setup was a tad bit fiddly, but nothing an average hobbiest can't tackle.”
“It zips along like a full-blown desktop computer and it boots quickly. I have not been able to make it break out into a sweat: the CPU activity and temperature gadgets on the panel barely register.
The Pi 4 seems a real slow-coach in comparison. There is not much difference in the price, either.”
