“Got this to use with some retro console, needed a monitor that could be easy out away when not in use. This easy fitted my needs. Picture quality is good. Thought sound is not very loud.”
“This monitor is fantastic. I bought it to use with my retro computers and the pi but also using it as a 2nd monitor for my work laptop. The quality is great and it’s so easy to pack and put away. Brilliant piece of kit.”
“I am very pleased with this new monitor after using for a few weeks, mainly for coding, word-processing and web-browsing. I would not rely on it for colour-accurate work but at the price that is not a complaint.
It is light and takes up very little space. The simple cable-feed gap works and fits in well with a Pi400 or Pi500. Clever, and good value.”
“It is perfect for Pi500. It works without any power cables which is awesome (just a usb and a hdmi cable).
There are probably better monitors for general purpose (I have one that works only with 1 usb-c cable) but this one works perfectly with pi 500 and has good enough speakers.
It's cheaper than most portable monitors.
I also bought the desk stand for it - DON'T DO IT. The built in stand seems better.”
“This is a great addition to the Raspberry Pi ensemble. Instead of hooking another monitor I had at home and swapping and changing every time I can now use this solely with my Pi 5. The look of it is also quintessentially Raspberry. Great size for the Pi and visuals are excellent.”
“Beautiful monitor. Easily readable, very sharp, good controls on the back without having to look. Stand is great as is the notch for the cables.
Slight downside is audio since you can do a lot with Class D low power circuits and speakers, but perhaps too much ask for the price. Anyway easy to add more audio power with a Bluetooth speaker and it's fine if you take it out for remote use.
Indispensable for the Pi 500.”
