These were birthday gifts for our son after purchasing raspberry Pi from yourselves at Christmas and they were all greatly received. Excellent service, easy to use website and excellent delivery. Would definitely recommend and order again if the need arises

Excellent little MCU, only drawback to date seems to be curious behaviour when used as a slave SPI device, otherwise for the price its amazing, wish they were easier to get hold of :)

This is a great step forward for the Raspberry Pi. I use the conventional Raspberry Pi for quite a lot of functions but the new PICO is just what I was looking for in the control field. I have used Arduinos for a lot of control jobs, but I am now seriously looking at the PICO as a possible replacement for the Arduino It runs on Python which is a language that I particularly like and I think this feature will will help the PICO gain a lot of support from users. (You can also run it on C if you want) The big benefit is having Analogue ports as well as digital ones. I personally think that the PICO is going to become a market leader in the future. Bill C

Brilliant device, To get started just go to http://micropython.org/download/rp2-pico/ and download the .uf2 file. Just plug the pico into a usb port and power up with the button pressed. Copy the .uf2 file to the drive shown under 'RPI-RP2" Reboot and set up a serial terminal, I used Putty, to access the REPL prompt. or better use Thorny to directly write python files to the device.
