“Successfully set up with Thonny running on Raspberry Pi2Gb. I had not soldered for a while so found soldering on male headers fiddly, this would best be done by an adult if buying for a teen/child. MicroPython looks very promising, as an add on product I would suggest someone manufacture a board which you can plug the Pico into using male headers and then break out the pins to larger pads which are then clearly silk screened with their functions. As it is most of the pins are marked on the underside of the board. As a teaching aid my proposed board would make the Pico much more valuable. Very excited by this product.”
