“If you like physical computing on the Raspberry Pi (with Python) you will LOVE the Raspberry Pi Pico. I personally only code on Thonny for it with MicroPython but you can also use C/C++. It is very easy to set up and the BOOTSEL button works great for set up. It's brilliant how they even include the link on the Pico to the setup page where you can download the correct file.
Overall, the Pico is a great little device perfect for advanced and beginners (like me) alike!”
“I Wish there had been a pre-soldered option. I've still not even powered the thing on (my bad). In contrast to the micro-bit I think it's a good contender, but less turn-key. Price is most likely a factor in this.”
