“I have always used Arduino Nanos in the past but was concerned about the increased prices, shipping delays and perhaps more importantly carbon footprint of importing goods from China. I ordered 2 Pi Picos and was expecting a huge learning curve moving to a different IDE.
I was amazed at the simplicity of Micro Python and how easy it is to quickly test small bits of code before combining them within a larger program. Far Superior to an Arduino in terms of performance at roughly the same cost and the speed of delivery was incredibly fast. Ordered on Friday afternoon, delivered Saturday morning. “bought 2 of these to try them out (really want a sim rig but cant afford the prices) and was immediately impressed. within 30 mins i had Mu Editor installed on my pc and was plugging in buttons to test it out (also got a bit of code to use along with testing that worked great). i now have a working prototype with 16 buttons fully working on games (i use it on scs software truck simulators). next step is to buy a load of these and build a sim rig that wont cost me a fortune. 10/10 product”
