“Great fan! Yes, a tad noisy, but adjusting when it comes on mitigates a constant whirring noise.
Just make sure that you use the included heatsink, or at least make sure that any other heatsink is of the same height as the included one. I transferred it to a case containing another RP4 that had a taller heatsink, and it came into contact with the fan. It eventually melted the fan, killing it in the process. The RP4 that I transferred it from had the shorter, included heatsink.”
